Parish Life: Commissions
Pastoral Council
Our parish is guided by many people, all coordinated by our Pastoral Council of Ministries. The Council coordinates five working Commissions: Administration, Religious Education Formation, Human Concerns and Social Justice, Parish and Community Life and Liturgical and Spiritual Life. The Council is made up of fourteen members, with those being: the Pastor, two Trustees, a representative of the Parish Staff and two people selected from each Commission.
Members of our Parish Council must be sixteen years of age or older, be a registered member of the parish, live up to and accept the Mission Statement of the parish, attend Council meetings regularly and be a member of one of the Commissions for at least one year. Each member serves a two year term with half the membership being elected each year. The year runs from July 1 to June 30. A member of the Council may only serve three consecutive two year terms.
